Nope, no ghost in a rowboat here

Ghosts come in all shapes and sizes, and Aldrich Pond seems
to be trying to prove that fact.  It is said that there are four
different ghosts that haunt the shores here at the pond.
 Here
is what we learned:

There is the spirit of a woman with half of her head missing
seen on the shore of Aldrich Pond who appears menacing. The
spirit did not appear to be concerned that there were other
people around.

A ghost of a delivery man may sometimes be spotted beside
the waterfront at Aldrich Pond slurping some apple juice.  One
of the local residents confidently argues that this spirit could
be "a famous old days resident of Elmore".  Anyway, this ghost
undoubtedly is chilling; one that any wise person wouldn't
wish to come across.

In the early morning hours the ghost of a train driver may
frequently be perceived fishing at the water's edge of the
pond.

The ghost of a destitute man is seen in a row boat on Aldrich
Pond burrowing an outlet.  They say that it's a terrifying ghost
that should be left alone.

Since we were already going to be in the area for another
investigation we decided to check things out.  Tom and Terry
first arrived at Aldrich Pond during the afternoon.  The pond
ended up being bigger than we thought it would be.  It was
pretty quiet and peaceful there.  We could hear the traffic from
nearby I-80, but it wasn't overwhelming.  Terry checked the
EMF levels and the baseline was 0.0 as expected here.  Since
we were working another investigation, we left and would
return later at night.

We arrived back at Aldrich Pond later than evening after it was
already dark.  Unfortunately it was to dark for photos, even
Infrared photos.  No one else was present, which worked out
for us.
Initially we planned to use several night vision cameras, but it
was even to dark for them to produce any quality footage.
Terry kept an eye on EMF and temperature levels while we
began some EVP work.  It was colder than we had expected it to
be, and the wind was kicking up a little, but it was bearable.

Taking a hand held night shot camera we went out onto the
little peninsula.  We stayed there for a while, but eventually, the
chilly weather got the best of us.  So, we sat in our vehicle to
warm up.  This was a good time to pull out the night vision
scope and parabolic dish.  We began making sweeps over the
pond.  With the aid of the night vision we could see the trees
from the shoreline on the other side.

It was too windy for parabolic dish to pick up anything useful
outside at this time.  Tom and Terry kept watch for a while, even
switching off with the parabolic dish and night vision scope.
The wind was the most noticeable thing that the dish was
picking up.  We stayed for as long as we could.  We had no
anomalous readings, personal experiences, or even seeing
anything out of the ordinary.

After reviewing our data, we ended up with nothing.  With the
supposed abundance of spirits at Aldrich Pond one would think
that we would have got something.  However, when it comes to
the paranormal, sometimes nothing is all that you get.
