St. Clair Cemetery
St. Clair Cemetery is one of the earliest cemeteries in the
Pittsburgh South Hills area and it includes some of the earliest
burials that date back to the early 1800's.  It is currently owned
by a local church, however only partial records about it's
history and burials are available.  The cemetery is not very
large, approximately just 2 acres in size.  We do know that there
are just over 1,000 interments there.

This site was brought to our attention by friend and new
Investigator-in-Training, Mick.  There are no reported accounts
of a haunting or paranormal activity here that we could find.
So, under normal circumstances it would not be a idea location
to conduct a paranormal investigation, but Mick had visited this
site several times before joining with us and had actually
obtained an EVP of a voice saying "hello".  So, with having
been here before, we chose this site for the location of Mick's,
and fellow CPSI newbie Jim's, first training investigation.  More
of a traditional 'ghost hunt' than an investigation, but we won't
split hairs here.

We arrived at the cemetery before dark on a fairly cool June
day, those present included Tom, Jaimie, Mick and Jim.  We
began at the lower end of the cemetery and worked our way up
to the top and back.  Even though this would be their first
investigation with us, Mick and Jim have already received
some basic training with us and were already familiar with
various investigation processes.  Once getting situated we
broke up into teams of two and began our investigation. Jaimie
and Tom each taking turns with the trainees with conducting
EVP sessions, monitoring the equipment for fluctuations, as
well as using the video equipment among others.

The investigation was cut a little short once an approaching
storm front began rolling in, however, the evening went quite
well.  Mick and Jim took to the equipment and our investigation
process with little effort and are quickly underway with
developing their investigation skills.  There were no personal
experiences while we were there, nor were there any EMF or
temperature anomalies.  After reviewing all video, audio, and
pictures we did not turn up any evidence of paranormal activity
at St. Clair Cemetery.  At least, none while we were there.
