From time to time we do take on new members. If you would like to be considered for membership with CPSI, please continue reading. We offer various positions within CPSI, but please know that we are an active paranormal investigation group - we are not a ghost "meet up" group, or the type of group that one just signs up to be a member of in name only. We are seeking individuals who want to actively participate in paranormal research and attend investigations.
Even though we are based outside of Pittsburgh, PA, approximately 50% of our investigations are NOT local. They can range anywhere from an hour away, up to 5 or 6 hours away. Also, these farther investigations do require an overnight stay. Travel is an integral part of our research, therefore having the time and ability to travel is necessary for any and all applicants.
Once your Membership Form has been submitted, you will be contacted via email to advise you whether we are, or are not, accepting new members. If so, then an initial telephone interview will be set up. At that point, a follow up face to face meeting may be scheduled, at which time membership may be offered.
Please realize that we must be selective in choosing our investigators and researchers.
Due to the nature of our investigations, we must have some guidelines for our investigators and researchers to follow. The following is a sample of the rules and guidelines with which one must adhere to in order to become and remain part of CPSI.
