Lowe Hotel
Visit 2
In March of 2006, we took a larger group back to the
Lowe Hotel in Point Pleasant WV.  The last time we
were there, we all had some type of personal
experience, and couldn't wait to get back down there.

This time, we took 6 members and 1 guest.  We got
to the hotel to find a wedding going on in the
ballroom, which was one of the two major focuses of
our investigation.  We spent some time wandering
around Point Pleasant, visited the Mothman Museum,
and made a stop at a new Mexican restaurant
(MMMM) before the reception was over.  We were
then given clearance to do as we wished.

We were hoping to find the same eerie feeling we all
got the last time, but even though the uneven floor in
the ballroom gave us the feeling of being off balance,
we did not experience much in the way of paranormal
activity.  Once again, we used EMF and temperature
equpment, although the EMF is useless in certain
areas of the still-under-renovations building.  We took
hundreds of photos and hours of video as well as
hours of audio recording.  Jodie had an experience
when she thought something brushed her arm, but
otherwise we captured nothing in the way of evidence.

We were disappointed, but not discouraged.  We
believe that all the activity from the wedding and
reception earlier had an effect on the outcome.  We
all love this hotel and town, and plan to make many
return trips.  Keep checking back for updates.

Heidi tries to provoke something by
yelling.  It looks as thought it worked.
Too bad it was just a camera flare.
There is a lot of reflection in the
ballroom.
Another camera flare, this time from the
lights outside.
